A litigator is a term that is used to refer to a licensed attorney whose work is to represent a plaintiff or a defendant in civil cases. A litigator manages all phases of the litigation process. The main litigation process starts from the investigation, through to pleadings and discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
To qualify as litigator like Karl Heideck, one must first obtain a bachelor’s degree and then get admission in a Law school. Therefore, it requires an individual to have good grades in English, History, Economics and any other subject that has a relationship with the area of specialization. When you get the entry-level bachelor’s degree, then you can apply for admission in a Law school that is approved by the American Bar Association. If the admission request is granted, then the student is required to sit for the law school admission tests.
Upon graduation, the student earns the Juris Doctor Degree. The final step involves passing the bar exam and gaining the necessary experience in the court proceedings. The student is required to get an attachment in a law firm of their choice so that they can perfect their skills.
